Dave Simmons, Managing Director

Held executive directorship of The Simmons Group of Companies since 2000 in which time have delivered successfully the development of the groups Design & Construction capabilities, Process & Projects Division and the successful acquisition of group support facility, Key Group Engineering in February 2006

Manage the development and execution of operational divisions. Attend to specialist engineering requirements of Major Project Division. Maintain active advisory board of the group executive management team.

 

Jim March, General Manager

As General Manager, Jim plays a key role of interfacing and prioritizing the clients requirements into the varying demands of our machine ship and general fabrication workshop. With many years of experience organizing crews for remote site breakdown productions scheduling, sub contractor expending, allocation of personnel, a complete overview of all works in the company is maintained. His attention to detail and precision work is the basis of his 1st class qualifications. Business development and customer liason is always a priority in the day to day development of work.

 

Peter Cinnani, Mechanical Services Manager

Peter has an extensive background in the construction and maintenance industry. A boilermaker welder by trade he swiftly progressed into the highly specialized coatings application business which provided the exposure into the construction and maintenance industries and built up a reputation as a person who gets the job done to the client's satisfaction and deadlines. This culminated with his successful venture into his own contracting business in 1991 where his skills in project management, client liason and hands-on personnel where he honed to the levels required to provide clients with the confidence in utilizing his skills to manage contracts and projects. Peter joined TSG Key Group in 2006 and brings with him some 25 years of management experience and been responsible for the sharp increase in the Mechanical Services Division business unit.

 

John Coletta, Personnel / HR Manager

John has almost 20 years of experience in the Human Resource field and over the period has become a generalist, which makes him perfectly placed to work within our multidisciplinary environment. His background includes recruitment, payroll, IR and administration. As he has managed large teams across diverse fields, he has knowledge of such areas as records, asset management and risk management. John ha experience in both the private and public sectors, with a firm understanding of the numerous legislative and industrial regulations.

 

John Franetovich, Shipping / Diving Manager

John has been involved in the engineering business since 1965, during which time he completed a trade apprenticeship. In 1970 he joined the Merchant Navy as a Marine Engineer before joining Franmarine Services, where he worked in various roles from shop floor through to Managing Director. In 1991 he conceived and jointly established Key Engineering(now Key Group) incorporating Labour Hire and Commercial Diving divisions. In 2006 the business was sold to The Simmons Group and John maintains the role of Ship Repair and Commercial Diving Manager.

 

Michael Liotino, Landscape Manager

Michael has ten years experience in the Landscapong industry. His experience lies in all aspects of the Horticultural industry, commercial irrigation, as well as overseeing projects in the Mandurah region. These include Wetland, Dune rehabilitating, and Property Development landscaping. He currently holds a Cert. 3 in Horticulture, site safety blue card, First Aid Certificate, Traffic Management Certificates and attended the OHS for Supervisors course.

 

Jim McPhail,Workshop Engineering Manager

Jim McPhail began his engineering career in 1978 as an apprentice Turner/Machinist. He has extensive experience in oil and gas, mining and mechanical engineering complemented by his skills and knowledge of CNC machining. Jim brings to TSG Key Group broad experience in operational controls and procedures. His responsibilities include the scheduling and expediting of work projects through our demanding 24 hr workshop. Jim has excellent quality control, people management and customer service skills that have been fine tuned in his 10 years of managerial experience.
